We are delighted to announce that Simon Marrington MICFor, Business Development Manager at Tilhill will present a summary of the potential benefits of:
Planting new woodland,

Potential additional income streams from carbon sales.

 
 
Simon is a chartered forester and has over twenty-five years of public and private-sector managerial experience in the UK forest industry. He has an in-depth understanding of the ‘woodlands for water’ natural flood management agenda, having previously coordinated the delivery of Defra’s innovative land management project ‘Slowing the Flow at Pickering’. Simon has a comprehensive knowledge of current national and regional grant funding opportunities available to landowners in England, including new income streams available from the sale of woodland carbon. He also has experience of delivering large scale operational forest management programmes, commercial Christmas tree production and the management of trees and woodlands on golf courses. Simon now leads a team seeking out business opportunities and meeting the needs of new clients for Tilhill throughout England.
