Hot & Dry Weather Support

The Rural Payments Agency, following the recent spell of dry weather, have approved temporary adjustments to some Countryside Stewardship and Environmental Stewardship options, in order to assist farmers who are now facing challenges in meeting the requirements of their original options

Where relevant, agreement holders can choose to continue with their existing obligations without adjustment, or they may use the temporarily adjusted options. The list of changes is available on the DEFRA website, and we insert the link below for ease.

If you wish to adjust an option, you are required to complete a temporary requirement adjustment form, as stipulated in your agreement. We have inserted a link to this document, below, for ease. Where farmers are using the listed changed options, the form does not need to be submitted to DEFRA, but it should be retained for records, as it may be requested in the future.
